Where did it start?
The Koggelram brand was established in April 2023 when friends were having a good South African ‘braai’ on the farm Blomfontein near Vredenburg on the West Coast, Western Cape.
During a pleasant evening of talking about farming and plenty of other interesting topics, we realised the opportunity to establish a branded clothing range with extended products for ages from newborn to the old and wise. Our main focus is high-quality products at affordable prices with a unique difference. The Koggelram range can have ‘tongue-in-cheek’ humour with all kinds of fun sayings that you can select from or even create your own.

Koggelram meaning
Koggelram is a male sheep that has been vasectomised unable to impregnate ewes but not castrated. It is also called a Teaser ram. The main purpose of a Koggelram is to stimulate the ewes before the breeding rams do the impregnation.
We decided that the word Koggelram can be used to describe many ‘tongue-in-cheek’ sayings and can add some humor to our South African lives.
